Beware of Data Leakage from Using Online Translation Tools

Norwegian news agency NRK reported on a data breach by Statoil, one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, due to using free online translation tools from translate.com , and the data become open Google search results.



For translation agencies, this is something forseen already.  Professional translation companies use translation software to memorize translation queries for future use, so the concept exists long ago.
